Pickaro Cancellation & Refund Policy
Pickaro website and app · Updated 11 October 2026
1. Which transaction this policy covers
This policy explains requests connected with orders and bookings recorded on Pickaro. Purchases completed on an external store or service provider follow that provider’s disclosed cancellation and refund process. Identify where you paid and keep the relevant order or booking number.
2. Before you confirm
Review the item, variant, quantity, delivery charges, payment method and cancellation conditions before confirmation. Hotel and appointment conditions can vary by business and date. Listing-specific conditions must be visible before booking and cannot override applicable consumer rights.
3. Cancelling a new request
Where the order screen offers cancellation for a new request, use that action. Once a request is accepted, food preparation starts, a service is underway or courier booking begins, cancellation may need business and support review. A message asking to cancel is not confirmation that cancellation completed.
For an already paid shipment, payment and courier reconciliation may be needed before cancellation or refund can be confirmed. Do not place a replacement order until you understand the status of the original request.
4. Wrong, damaged, missing or defective items
Report a wrong item, missing quantity, damage, defect or material mismatch through the relevant order as soon as reasonably possible. Explain which item is affected and attach clear photographs or other evidence when available. Retain packaging if it helps investigation.
A seller’s general no-return wording does not remove remedies required by applicable law. The appropriate remedy can depend on the issue and may include replacement, completion of missing fulfilment, repair or refund.
5. Food and perishables
Prepared food and perishables are generally unsuitable for ordinary change-of-mind returns after preparation or delivery. This does not remove your ability to report an incorrect, unsafe, spoiled, missing or materially misdescribed order. Contact the business and support promptly so the issue can be assessed.
Do not consume an item that appears unsafe. Provide the order reference and details of the concern. Photo suggestions and menu descriptions cannot guarantee allergen suitability.
6. Hotels and appointments
Cancellation, rescheduling, no-show and early checkout conditions depend on the terms disclosed for the selected stay or appointment. Explain a business cancellation, denied confirmed booking, unavailable service or disputed fee through the booking issue flow.
A rescheduling request needs confirmation. Until the change is accepted, the original booking details remain relevant. Do not assume that a chat message alone changed a reserved slot.
7. Charges and refund amount
The refund decision should explain the affected items, approved amount, applicable deductions and treatment of shipping or COD fees. Deductions must have a valid basis and be disclosed; they are not automatically justified because a seller requests them.
For COD, a refund of money already collected may require verified payout details through a secure channel. Never disclose a UPI PIN, card PIN or OTP to receive a refund.
8. Refund stages and timing
An issue submission records a request for investigation. It does not automatically approve a refund or transfer money. The business or support may need order history, payment confirmation, courier status and evidence before deciding.
After approval, refund initiation depends on the payment or payout method. Bank and provider processing times vary. Retain the refund reference and consult the communicated expected timeframe; do not treat an initiation message as proof of completed bank credit.
9. Duplicate or uncertain payments
If payment appears deducted but an order is unclear, report the payment reference, amount and time. Avoid making the same payment repeatedly. The payment provider and order record must be reconciled before confirming whether the charge succeeded, failed or needs reversal.
10. Escalation
If a seller reply does not resolve the issue, use Support Tickets or Contact Us and include earlier correspondence. Keep a copy of your complaint and evidence. Customers retain access to applicable consumer grievance and dispute resolution channels.
