It is designed for USB-powered and adapter-powered portable devices, providing simultaneous battery charging and system power management. The IC features dynamic power path management (DPPM), programmable charging current, USB-compliant input current limiting, battery temperature monitoring, safety timers, and comprehensive protection features.
