Pickaro Privacy Policy

Pickaro website and app · Updated 11 October 2026

1. Information used by Pickaro

Depending on how you use Pickaro, information may include your name, email, account identifier, phone number, saved addresses, business profile, uploaded media, searches, orders, bookings, reviews and support messages. Google sign-in provides the identity information needed to create or authenticate your account.

Device, browser, session and operational information can be used to keep the service functioning and investigate failures. Payment providers process payment details through their own supported flows. Do not send sensitive payment credentials in ordinary messages.

2. Why information is used

Information is used to authenticate accounts, display relevant results, manage businesses, calculate eligible delivery, record transactions, coordinate fulfilment, communicate status and investigate support requests. Seller information is also used to display and manage public listings.

Optional features may require additional information. A location request should explain its purpose and allow manual entry where practical. Marketing preferences and essential transaction communication should be distinguishable.

3. Location

When you choose current location and grant permission, coordinates can help identify your area or check service eligibility. Address conversion may send coordinates to a configured location provider. If you decline permission, enter your area or address manually.

A saved delivery address and an approximate browsing location have different purposes. Confirm the full delivery address during checkout rather than relying only on an approximate location.

4. Sellers, couriers and service providers

Relevant fulfilment details may be shared with the seller, courier, payment provider or service provider involved in your transaction. For example, pickup and delivery contacts and addresses are needed to book a parcel. Businesses should use customer details for authorized transaction purposes.

An external offer may take you to another provider, where that provider’s privacy policy applies. Comparison requests may share the search fields needed for that provider to return an offer.

5. Photos and assisted recognition

Uploaded listing media can be displayed publicly when the associated listing is published. Do not upload private documents or photographs unrelated to the listing.

When you request an image-based name suggestion, the selected image can be processed by the configured recognition provider. Suggestions require your review; do not submit confidential information for item recognition.

6. Cookies and local storage

Session storage, cookies and device storage help maintain authentication, saved preferences and browsing state. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in or other account features from working. External services may use their own storage under their policies.

7. Notifications

Order, booking and account notices can be sent using the contact information and available channels configured for the service. WhatsApp or other optional messaging may require opt-in. Review notification settings and contact support if a number or email is incorrect.

8. Retention and deletion

Information is retained as needed for account operation, fulfilment, security, support, record keeping and applicable obligations. Removing a public listing does not necessarily erase transaction snapshots, payment reconciliation or complaint records.

You can manage saved addresses and relevant account information through available settings. For access, correction or deletion requests beyond those controls, contact support and provide enough information to verify the request safely.

9. Security

Pickaro uses access controls and supported authentication mechanisms to protect account information. No online service can promise that every device, connection or third-party system is risk free. Keep your credentials private and report suspicious activity.

Account access should be restricted to authorized users. Businesses and staff must not retrieve customer information from orders they do not own or manage.

10. Questions and changes

Use Contact Us or Support Tickets for privacy questions and requests. Do not attach unnecessary identity documents to a public review. Any verification request should use a suitable private channel.

This policy may change as features and service providers change. Read the updated policy and feature-specific information when choosing a new service. Applicable statutory rights remain available.
